Susan Hardwick

Founder & Joint President – Events, Finance, Sponsorship

Susan was a board director at Affinity (part of Porter Novelli Countrywide) and Media Square. She has run her own boutique PR business specialising in sport sponsorship, luxury goods and telecommunciations. 

She has close links with the leisure marine industry handling global communications for number of clients within this sector. She has strong organisational and creative abilities, is a good communicator and excellent strategic thinker. An experienced advisor on communications issues, Susan has handled a wide portfolio of UK and international clients in the drinks industry, sport, education and telecommunications.

Angela Oakes

Angela is a PR professional with an impressive track record as a senior level consultant. She is experienced in working with global multi-nationals on strategic brand development, corporate communications and integrated campaigns.

Angela founded and successfully ran boutique London-based PR agency Treehouse PR; developing and managing the business for 25 years. The agency implemented innovative global campaigns for major international brands, with impressive results particularly in the drinks and creative industry sectors.

Prior to launching her own agency business Angela worked at global PR agencies – Hill & Knowlton and The Grayling Company.

Jane Atkinson

Executive Chair – Strategic Advice

Jane has had an extremely successful career leading some of the best known global PR agencies and running her own consultancy. She has also worked in-house as global head of communications and as Chief of Staff for a not for profit organisation.

She specialises in the development of communications strategies and reputation management for organisations and individuals.

Specialties: Corporate and business to business, communications advice and consultancy, issues and crisis management, speech writing, interim communications director.

Jane is also CEO for UK networking group One Loud Voice.

Claire has spent the last 16 years working in both consumer and corporate communications for a number of personal finance and motoring brands. In the past four years Claire has won PRCA City and Financial Professional of the year, PRCA In-House Professional of the year and HeadlineMoney’s PR Professional of the Year.

Claire previously sat on the Women in PR UK committee, serving as vice president before going on maternity leave. Claire is a member of the Battersea (dog’s home) Corporate Engagement and Board and provides PR and campaign support to the 30% Club. Last year, she was featured as a global role model for women in business on the HERoes Women Role Model list 2020.

Louise Nicolson

Louise is co-founder and partner at communications and change management consultancy Williams Nicolson. She is a serial entrepreneur, published author and business coach with over 23 years’ experience in public relations, employee engagement and issues management. Her first book, The Entrepreneurial Myth: a Manifesto for Real Business, reached number seven in WHSmith business charts.

Samantha Grocutt

Social Media Strategist

Owner of London based boutique hair, beauty and lifestyle agency Essence PR, Samantha has over 20 years’ experience in the world of PR.  Alongside her hands-on approach to running a successful  agency, Samantha is very active within the industry and is currently co-President of The Hairdressers’ Charity alongside past voluntary positions within the Prince’s Trust Health & Beauty committee, Women in PR, the Fragrance Foundation, and the Hair & Barber  Council Think Tank.
