Global Women in PR’s 2023 Annual Index revealed that more than half — 53% – of women at all levels reported facing harassment in their workplace, the most common forms being psychological, power and personal harassment. Approximately one third of those who reported the harassment either left or were encouraged to leave their organisations, while no action was taken in the case of another third. With many companies continuing to grapple with the optimal mix of remote vs. in-person working, the index also explored the prevalence and perceived benefits of flexible work as well as the impact of flexible work on career progression.

Conducted in partnership with the strategic insight agency Opinium, this research covers women working in PR across 35 countries divided equally between agency and in-house plus 10% independent practitioners.

Our panellists will discuss the findings of the 2023 index and explore solutions to drive positive change in the industry.

Speakers will include:

  • Sue Hardwick, Co-founder and Joint President, GWPR
  • Melissa Arulappan, Director of Communications, Target
  • Linda Descano, Executive Vice President, Red Havas US
