Why did you agree to be a mentor?
Being a mentor is a fantastic opportunity. It allows you to explore many facets of your professional experience. The perspectives and insights of young women provide a broader vision, helping you understand the reasons behind certain choices. Sharing your experiences makes you more aware of your own journey.
How do you feel this benefits you personally and professionally?
Mentoring offers a chance to reflect on and observe your own path. The exchange fosters awareness and personal growth, not just professional development. It has been incredibly rewarding.
How do you believe your mentee has benefitted from this journey?
We both benefited from this experience because the exchange was mutual. Through our shared journey, we analyzed various “hows” and “whys.” She gained from my twenty years of experience, and I benefited from her always evergreen questions.
Would you be a mentor again?
Absolutely, I would be a mentor again. The gift of time is invaluable. I truly hope to be part of the project again; I would love it.
