The War in Ukraine has been a watershed moment for so many of us. In this free, virtual panel event we will be discussing the personal stories and experiences from those on the ground, as well as understanding how the War has impacted the way we communicate and just how powerful a network can be.

The event will be chaired by Anna Geffert, President of Women in PR UK and founder of HERA Communication Strategies – a corporate and financial agency with an international client base who are directly impacted by the war. Anna will be dialling in from London, UK.

And the panellists will be:

Olena Sukhanova, Managing Director of MSL Ukraine, Publicis Group Ukraine. With over 22 years in communications, Olena launched MSL Ukraine during 2020 (Covid) year and has managed to maintain business during the war. Olena has extensive experience of managing large local and international clients, picking up numerous creative awards along the way, including EFFIE Grand Prix. Olena will be dialling in from Ukraine.

David Gallagher, a senior strategist, NED/ Board advisor and founder of DG Advisory, who is heading up the Ukraine Communication Support Network for the PRCA. David will be discussing the Communications challenges around mis-information as well as the challenges for agencies and brands affected by the war. David will be dialling in from London, UK.

Elena Bakum-Ramola, Chief Creative Officer of Publicis Group Ukraine. With over 25 years in advertising and 21 years with PG Elena has Led the team through several crises, expand business to other markets, maintained top positions in Ukrainian Communication Ratings. Elena will be dialling in from Ukraine.

Ana Maria Diceanu, the founder and CEO of leading PR and Crisis Comms agency Brain 4 Strategy and the GWPR President in Romania will be discussing her experience of the war and its impact on the industry and brands, plus some incredible case studies of the Communications industry coming together. Ana will be dialling in from Bucharest, Romania.
