Michelle Hutton

Chief Operating Officer

Edelman Europe

Based in London, Michelle Hutton is the Chief Operating Officer of Edelman Europe.  Previously Michelle led Edelman’s Global Consumer Marketing team creating Edelman’s Earned Brand Series of Consumer IP and chairing Edelman’s Global Brand Council.   Before relocating to Europe, Michelle ran Edelman’s operations in Australia, as CEO, where she led an international award-winning team. Prior to joining Edelman, Michelle was the chief executive, Australasia of Hill & Knowlton Strategies and ran the firm’s consumer marketing practice across Asia Pacific.   Michelle was a PR juror at the 2017 Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity. She has an interest in supporting female leaders.  Michelle leads Edelman’s Global Women in Leadership program in Europe and was previously a Board Director of The Communications Council in Australia serving on the diversity and inclusion committee.

Denise relocated to London in 2010 from Ketchum New York to take on the role of managing director, client service. During that time she served as the global team leader for Philips Lighting as part of OneVoice, a consortium of Omnicom agencies, led by Ketchum and Fleishman-Hillard.

Tanya is one of the owners of lifestyle and luxury specialists, Talk PR and president of SERMO, the agency’s global network of independent communications agencies. SERMO comprises 17 agencies working in 18 countries with over 500 staff and a combined fee income of £33million. Tanya became president of SERMO in March 2014 and is responsible for extending partner collaboration, introducing central business management systems, adding an increased level of value for clients and marketing and growing the network into new markets.

With extensive experience in PR and communications built over a number of years, Nicola has held senior positions in global agencies, co-founded an award-winning consultancy and run high profile national and international campaigns across a wide range of industry sectors including not for profit. Passionate about growing opportunities with small and enterprising businesses and promoting the role of women in the sector, Nicola is Treasurer and Membership Secretary of Women in PR UK. In her spare time she coaches, is a charity Chair and a recent convert to croquet!

Francis Ingham

Director General




Francis Ingham is Director General of the PRCA, and Chief Executive of the International Communications Consultancy Organisation (ICCO).  Ingham’s background is in politics and public affairs. He is External Examiner to the American University at Richmond and Trustee of The Speakers' Corner Trust.  He was educated at Oxford University, where he read Politics, Philosophy and Economics. He appears in both the UK and the Global editions of PR Week’s PowerBook.
